This is the continuation and completion of yesterday's post on the same subject. With this set I complete my ongoing presentation which started 17 episodes ago with the London and Switzerland album previews. Thank you very much for looking in on my presentations and for the supportive comments and interesting questions I received.
We will shortly be traveling over to Switzerland to spend the Christmas and New Years holidays with our families over there and I will only be able to infrequently access UHH but I look forward to keep an eye on interesting posts if the time allows. In the meantime, I wish you all a joyful holiday season, good health and much happiness in the year to come. Joe Weber

Excellent set Joe.
Thank you Jim, I appreciate your kind comment.
Joe, I think your friends and relatives will thoroughly enjoy this calendar.
Beautiful! I especially like #3 and #10 (even though #10 is a spare!). I’m sure you personalized calendars are much appreciated. You live in a great area for photos and you take advantage of it very well.

Thank you Ellen for your appreciative words. I have some interesting anecdotes for both of these places. I took #3 on a drive a bit south of us into an area we had never visited, found a partially circular route on the map that I wanted to explore in late spring, only to find out that the road was still closed for repair (many of the mountain roads in the area here are closed for the winter and then re-open at different times in late spring). So I tried the route again in July and this time it was open, actually not as exciting a drive as I had hoped for, with quite a long quite rough gravel stretch, but I did get some good shots. All the time I was thinking that I was in Skagit county, and when I made up my calendar, I labeled the #3 shot as being in Skagit county. Only when making up the map for this presentation and making the county map overlay did I realize that this and another shot (of the Big Four Mountain) were actually in Snohomish county!
# 10 was taken in a park in our neighboring city of Bellingham. Over the 14 years that we lived here, we visited this park quite a few times, but always walked a certain route, not realizing that there was more to this park. On this last visit in October, I saw some people playing at the edge of the river upstream and I realized that there was a path leading up that way and it opened up a totally new and quite exciting vista to us, including that fall foliage scene at Derby Pond in #5 (I didn't even know there was a pond up there) as well as that rock with its reflection in Whatcom Creek pictured in #10. It is great to know that even after 14 years in the area, you can still discover new corners in some known parks!
Hard to pick your best 12 out of the series you have posted, Joe!

Thanks Mike, that's a very nice thing to say - truth is that I personally have a lot of difficulties picking a small number of shots out of a big pool - I am very lucky that Susan helps me along, with less emotional attachment!
