Having trouble getting snapbridge app on iPhone 8 to connect with my Nikon d7500. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

Don’t know how you’re trying to connect, but this way works for me:
Setup menu, Wi-fi, Establish wi-fi connection.
Phone settings, wi-fi, choose the network ID & enter password if required. Open snapbridge, tap the camera icon, choose download or remote (whichever you’re trying to do).
Should be good to go, but, it may take several attempts. Good luck

Apologies for the routine question. Are you running the most recent versions of SnapBridge and iOS? The older versions of SnapBridge were quite twitchy.

I was asked to upgrade the Snspbtidge app when ai tried to pair it. Don’t know if it did. Indications were that it did; but who knows. I have heard of problems with Snapbridge in the past. Guess Zi’ll call Nikon Monday. Thanks for suggestions.
I was just trying to get Smart Device Image Transfer and Snapbridge connections working between a D850 and an Android phone. After an hour or so I gave up. I did manage to transfer one photo but the connection was never persistent or reliable.

Snap bridge is flawed. What should be quick and easy never works for many of us. (D7500 owner). My phone talks to my Bluetooth speakers and my car without me doing anything but I’ve never been able to get Snapbridge to achieve anything.

Think you all are right; Nikon did not think this (snapbridge) very well.

Works for me - D5600 & iphone 7 - has ever since…
Once I got past the initial setup frustration, it has been fine.
I can’t be the only one, can I?

You are not. I use snapbridge whenever I want to text or email a pic to someone from my phone. Just remember to set up the wifi and bluetooth on your camera first. Then start snapbridge on your phone. Also, you select the photos to be downloaded from the snapbridge app.
