The gators are settling down for the night. Grackles, ibis, vultures, anhinga, and other birds are flying in from all directions to roost on the trees on the islands. The Great Blue Herons are standing still and stately in the reeds and cattails. And the Black Crowned Night Herons are making their appearance. Hand-held using a Canon 6D and Canon 200-400mm (Version 1) - the night heron a bit of a challenge to get with f 6.3 at 1/400sec ISO 4000.
