Liberty vs Bishop Gorman NIAA 5A Southern Region Championship Game

What I can say sports fans. This was quite a night I have never experienced. I got to the game about 2 hours ahead of kickoff. Otherwise I would be walking still to the car. All stands filled to capacity. Standing room only with 5 squad cars with blinking lights sitting right outside the stadium. As if to say don't even think about starting something. Nothing happen except a hard hitting game. Bishop Gorman has a running back that holds the state record for the 100 yard dash. Yes he is very fast indeed. I will have a shot of him.
I shot the whole game at 1/1000 and 1/1250 at 2.8 using 300 2.8 and after the game 24-70 2.8. No flash. Got home about 9:30 leaving the house at 4:00. Yes this old guy was beat.

Thursday I will do it all over shooting the 4A and 5A championship games. I will have help though because there will be two shooters from Maxpreps.

Well done Jules, wide open (f2.8) definitely separates everything nicely! Clean, sharp, filled the frame, I think you have that mastered with your experience. I looked at your complete gallery, nicely done to all the supporting players you captured. Good luck on your next 2 games. I'll have to post some pictures from my last gallery, I'm exhausted after cleaning/posting 550+ combined photos from last Thursday/Friday bi-district playoff games here in South Texas.

Thank you for the inspiration to make us all better photographers, I think I'm catching on,

Should be a very long day Paul. First game starts at 12:30 second game 3:40 so I figured I will be home after about 7:00 pm. Got stay the entire game, got to shoot the awards after the game, etc.
