And there were always games when I was a kid and I've enjoyed teaching my grandson how to play checkers - he now beats me and gloats over that.
Did you ever play any of these? As a kid we lived in an apartment complex and we had board game tournaments. Monopoly and "Uncle Wiggly" were favorites. Monoply tournaments would go on for days!
Great games and shots ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

This "toy" could wear you out. Back in the day, I memorized the solution in that book and could solve it in several minutes (which was very slow compared to what competitors could do). The method in the book is (relatively) easy, but slow.
That was all a long time ago...
Seems like just yesterday 💚💛❤️🧡💙
I will be headed out again shortly and RoadRunner will starting the next challenge tonight.
Thank you all for making this a fun thread - guess we re-lived some childhood memories and proved we still have some of those tangible memories. These will be my last images for "Toys" but keep posting if you wish and I'll keep checking.

And there were Cabbage Patch dolls. I do recall one Christmas season when they were in such high demand, you couldn't get them. They were accompanied by "Furskins". This one was our daughter's and he got plenty of loving. And some more favorite books...you can tell the books were well read. Do you remember any of these?
You've got a small fortune there ⭐💞💞⭐
The last hurrah - model trains and the scenery that goes with them. This is part of the set up by local model train clubs in the Mall for the Christmas season. It's so fun to watch the childrens' faces.
