OMGosh, Bob! These are awesome!!!

Although, judging by the mischievous look
in your eyes on that last one, I suspect your
parents might have had second thoughts
about that BB gun and bow & arrow set...lol

Great start, Pat, and I know we still have at
least one Tonka truck buried down in the basement

just some of the 50 or so cast "collector" cars
my mom purchased over the years.

PS Thanks for hosting one again, Pat!

I am currently scratching my head as to why on earth I decided on this topic. As soon as I did, all ideas went out the window.

But let's give the topic a try. Post toys: big or little, child or adult (family friendly ), games, books. Maybe you have some that you or your children enjoyed. I wonder how many of us will find we've enjoyed similar toys in our past.

Thank you, Pat

You’re welcome. These models are something else. Pristine for sure. The collection must be valuable.

Pat, I think your challenge will be a big hit. I'm sure whatever you were thinking will come back to you! Thanks for hosting.
I too had a British Leland MGB. If I remember correctly, it was a 1970 model. I loved that car. But alas, it was temperamental and only started when you held your mouth just right. Then, along came my first child. As you know, there is no room for a car seat in the car. Unfortunately, my beloved MGB had to go. To this day, I miss that car.

p.1. Nice shot of the B. Reminds me of my '67 (first car). Yes, kids like those metal trucks.
