Not kidding. This castle is on the market. 18000 sq ft. 9 bedrooms 7 bathrooms 80 acres in Woodstock CT. Moat over the pond. He wants 35 million. (never will get that much). I know that the tree is in the way. But the pic was taken from the road, and didn't have permission to even go down the driveway

This looks like a picture i took while in Russia. You couldn't give me a castle. I would rather have a log house. The castles in Ireland were cold and damp, and the dungeons were scary. The Queens castle in in London spewed of working class money for upkeep, The are beautiful.

35 million for an oversized ugly house that probably costs a fortune to heat and cool.

Have you seen the TV series - Escape to the Chateau - in which Brits are buying up abandoned French Chateaus and opening them up as inns or wedding venues. Someone could maybe do the same with the one in your photo.

Sounds like a lot of money for what will be a lot of home to keep clean, but I guess if you can afford the place you can pay for a weekly cleaning crew.

A place that size needs full time staff. Just keeping the windows clean is a full time job for 2. The cars on the right are most likely staff.
