I tried to take advantage of what little fall color we have here and add to my wine box collection as well as try some stills without the box background.

In some cases, I changed the white balance in post to warm up the images. In some, I reduced saturation to create a more "antique" feel. Those adjustments account for color and temperature differences. All were shot with light from windows, camera on a tripod, and a remote shutter release. Ap priority @f/8, ISO 640, 1/25. For processing, I've been using the system that came with my Mac since my Photoshop Elements is acting up.

Beautiful still life! I especially like the first and second images. The diagonal composition is also nice in 4 through 6.

I tried still art a while ago. It's so easy, there's nothing to it. You don't have to worry about focus or hurrying the shot because they might leave, it just sits there waiting for you to take the shot and move on - right? HA, did i get a quick education about still art. I think it would be better if this was just ovr an inch or so. Maybe I should change the background or move this light from the side to the front. The whole thing drove me nuts.

Your photos represent hours of work and changing this and that. But you manage to make each one a work of art. - Beautifully done, much better than I have ever done. Congratulations.

An after thought that entire set belongs on your living room wall
