Tomorrow I will be having eye surgery to close a hole in the retina of my left eye. A gas bubble will be inserted into the hole. Will have to lay face down for 20 out of 24 hours for the next 10 days. Not looking forward to it. Will not know if the surgery is a complete success for 4 to 6 weeks. Have a chair like contraption I rented from Face Down Solutions to assist in the torture.
Don't know if I will be able to place a lap top in such a way to see the key board and the screen but will give it a try.
I have post a photo of a typical New Orleans French Quarter patio scene. Nothing special but I like it.
Hope to be back soon!

Best wishes for a happy landing! I swear, after 50 it is just patch, patch, patch!
Best wishes from me too. I see why you like this photo.

Hope everything turns out well for you. Doesn't sound like interesting recovery requirements. And your shot of the patio is beautiful. I've read descriptions of New Orleans French Quarter, but have never really seen what it actually looks like.
New Orleans French Quarter is amazing. Was there a couple of times on business with tight schedules, so no cameras. If my Wife would go, I'd do a photo trip there in a heartbeat!
Wow. Hope the recovery is quick and a success.
Here's to time going quickly for the next ten days!
Best of luck with your surgery. PS - I grew up in NOLA.
Good luck with the eye, and nice door.

Best wishes for a successful surgery and speedy recovery. The best advice is to follow the doctor's instructions.

So sorry to hear about your upcoming recovery..doesn't sound too fun. Hope all goes well, and you fully recover.
Hopefully you can get a laptop to set up so you can at least look at photos.

Beautiful photo, Don! Take care, follow the doctor's orders and come back.
That's a nice photo Don. Good thoughts sent your way for a successful outcome.
