I have been considering a Potoshop subscription...I don't care about Lightroom.
I see they doubled their price. I have been using Element for a long time.
Does anyone have CS6 for sale anymore? I no longer want a subsription.

The price hasn't changed, the lowest cost subscription remains $9.99/month. The higher cost 'PS only' options includes 100GB of cloud storage, where the $9.99 option covers PS, LR classic, mobile versions of each along with the desktop versions, and 20GB cloud storage. You don't 'need' any cloud storage except to share images in a 'work area' between your mobile devices and your 'main' desktop software.
The standalone software is 4+ years unsupported. Those old titles can be (re)installed and used
only by owners that have the serial numbers in their Adobe.com profiles as the 'original' owners. I'm sure many unreputable online sellers will take your money, but they have no way (nor you) to get the serial number into your profile on Adobe.com for the software to verify.

I'm sorry, I looked...the $9.99 option is no longer available....
I see that you earlier were using an even older version in a past post (2?). IMO, it is a waste of time and effort to keep chasing older versions of PS. Just do the 10 bucks a month for the very significant upgrade and concentrate on making photographs. And LR is a bonus in that it does amazing masking things now that before took a lot of time. I have played with the sky replacement (I dont replace but do edit) and it is very very accurate. It also does subject selection.
In my case a computer blew up. I simply bought a new computer, reinstalled all my cloud accounts, PS/LR, etc and was up and running in a few hours with no loss of any data, files, what ever. The subscription model is a bargain...
If you want a lower price, take a class from your local cc then as a student you can get the entire creative suite for $80/yr. That is PhotoShop , Lightroom , LightRoom Classic , indesign, illustrator , etc. In my case, I take different free noncredit classes.
I just got my renewal notice and price was the same. $9.99/mo.
Originally, I was against the “toll road” approach and used an older version of PS I had. But as technology moved on as well as plug-ins quit working I caved in. I’m finding $10/mo. Is a small price to pay to always get the latest upgrades and the technical support, which has been great.

Look more closely... the $9.99 option is still available on the Adobe website. I checked just now to be sure.
Here was my email from Adobe. Maybe new subscriptions are more.
You will be charged US$9.99 (plus tax) monthly. At the end of your one-year term, your subscription will automatically renew monthly until you cancel (price subject to change). No annual commitment required after the first year. Cancel anytime via Adobe Account or Customer Support.
Why are you getting everybody all worked up with inaccurate information? I'm still paying $9.99 (plus tax) and in my opinion it's a heck of a deal. I can't buy a decent hamburger in my city for under $10.

Thanks, I found it. When I looked thru my free creative cloud subscription, they only offered $19.99 with 1TB.
On the Adobe site they offer both. $9.99 with 20GB or $19.99 with 1TB
Sorry for the post, I should have checked more thoroughly.
It seems logical that it will go up. We should expect that and it is the nature of economics that inflation is a fact of life. Anybody remember gasoline at thirty cents a gallon?
I enjoy it enough that I wouldn't whine (much) if it went to $15 a month.
Please don’t encourage them, lol

No worries! Get the subscription! I don't think you will be sorry you did. The new Lightroom Classic (and if you only post-process on your computer, be sure you install the Classic) has some really easy-to-use features that were normally only found in Photoshop.
Enjoy!
