I'm slowly learning my bugs. This fellow is called a Western Conifer Seed Bug, Leptogiossus occidentalis, belonging to the Leaf-footed Bugs, Coreidae. And, I always thought when a bug is called western, than that is where they stay - in the west! :-) I guess not, since this fellow is here in Vermont. Camera Manual, hand held, F/22; 1/200; ISO 400

You know cameraniac its a common name, and so common names have no state or geographical boundaries, and I have to keep reminding myself of that whenever a name like this comes up! :-) :thumbup:
