Racing on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia.
The last race for 8 man boats this past Sunday. Shot with a Sony RX10 IV. Best travel camera I've ever owned.

The first time I ever saw the Schuylkill River was on my way to Villanova in September of 1966.
The surface was covered with dead fish and they had fire boats using their water cannons to herd the corpses for pickup.
Your view is much nicer.
Brings back memories. I was a coxswain on an 8 man crew out of Lower Merion High School. That's when men were used as coxswains. Now women are used for weight and the fact that the megaphone is electronic. I can still remember striking the side of the shell on the count of one, then 2,3,4 and again, strike. Bachelors was our boat house.

It's reassuring that it has cleaned up that well. However, locals still do not recommend swimming in it....
Thanks for viewing.
Walked by Bachelors on the way to the launching area.
