There are certain subjects that I have photographed over the years that I always seem to come back to. I don't know exactly what calls me back, but each time I find something new and compelling - at least to me. Here is one of my favorite subjects, captured on a beautiful evening after the first snowfall in the mountains, right when the larches (or tamaracks, no need to debate it!) have worked their fall magic. Nice colors. I'd bet most of us have similar 'magnets". There is a relatively undistinguished little house in Santa Fe I photograph on every visit.
