My first hiking visit, and I want to go back.
I can see why. Some nice colors too.

That is beautiful! I would go back too!
The colors are wonderful, Thanks
I too was there yesterday, but have not yet even looks at my photos. I was disappointed in the absence of more than a trickle of water at the various falls, there and at Matthiessen (a few miles south of Starved Rock).
As your photos prove, the colors were outstanding, and it was a sunny, bright day for the most part.
Great shots, and thanks!
A beautiful park and an infamous murder site in 1960. Went to school relatively near there. Visited a few times '63 -'64, kind of spooky. I'm sure that's why we went.
Nice photos, haven't been there since I was a kid.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful hike, Elmo.
What was the rock starving for? Nice scenics, thanks.
I grew up there and that was our go-to place for day outings. I haven't been there in decades. Lovely scenes and images.
