I can’t believe there is a shortage of Garcia Y Vega English Corona cigars. Just one of those mild good smoking cigar.

Cigars Intl, my goto cigar store on the internet is out of stock on most of their inventory. I'm not very optimistic this will end in the near future. ( other retailers mostly out of stock too)

What's wrong with King Edwards?

Apparently there is a shortage of everything today! I started with machine made cigars like Garcia y Vega 50 years ago, but now smoke only hand made premium cigars, but they are relatively expensive. I do live in the Cigar city of America(Tampa), so there are many cigar stores and lounges where we can enjoy this pleasure.

Two decades ago Cuba was pumping out some of the best cigars ever...a great growing patch.
I was able to join a buying club located in Spain...(where Cuba always sends their best stuff).
I forget how many I smoked...too many. But I ended up slacking back big time after the quality faltered (it always does). I still have 3 humidors...but am down to only 50 or so cigars.
I'd have to say that probably when the Trinidads were released to the public (used to be Castro's personal stock ... he would give them away as special presents) those were the very best...way better than the Cohiba's...hard to do, though my walk around cigar was usually a Montecristo.
A close second would be the 150th year Partagas anniversary cigars. Very dark...unbelievable taste. I only bought 3 boxes at the time...wish I had doubled that.

What's a good mild cigar? I am not an expert on cigars as you can see, I was given some Romeo and Julieta and I fell in love. Mild taste and no after taste. OH yes, and pricey.

I use Cigars International as well. My favorite is the Nica Libre (maduro.)

I had a very expensive collection of cigars however they were lost to a series of small fires over a period of time. I tried to collect insurance claiming the loss of the fire damage. I've been out of jail for insurance fraud now for five years and I haven't had a cigar since. 🤡

Arturo Fuente has a very extensive line of cigars from mild to full bodied. The construction is always superb and you never get a plugged one.

Check out CigarPage.Com. They have the best prices, better than Cigars International, and free shipping. They also run great specials, at least two emails a day in your Inbox.

I am not a smoker, but I do know where you are speaking of. I lived not to far from Ybor City in Brandon for about 32 years after retiring from the Army out of MacDill AFB. I had some close friends whose family was from that Cigar Capital of the World, and they carried that 'pride' with them always.

Yes, at the start of the 20th century there were over 200 cigar factories in Ybor City. Sadly, only one remains, JC Newman Co. But there are many cigar stores selling retail the fine products from Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, etc. Who IMHO have surpassed Cuba with a quality product because it's privately owned whereas Cuban cigars are all the Gov't.
