I have sold a few things where I underrated them and they sent me the money at a level higher than what I valued them. That is customer service
For buying A good price accurate rating
For selling fair quote but they only pay by direct deposit to checking account Refused to release that info, any one could drain it
Misshapp lens and case returned with shoulder straps! They state still searching for them
But would buy from them anytime
They are a reliable company. Many of us here have used them several times. They just completed a new round of funding to expand. I only have good things to say about them.
Never heard of them until now. Out of curiosity I just had MPB and B&H give me a quote on a lens I am thinking of selling. A Canon 100mm f/2.8 L Macro in like new condition. MPB quoted $445. B&H quoted $520. I'm not knocking MPB since I know nothing about them, but, that's a difference of $75. I have sold to B&H on several occasions and always received the full quoted price. This could be just a one-off anomaly. I'll add MPB to my list of dealers to get quotes from.

Every time you send a check to someone that info is on the check
As I previously stated, I went to both the MPB and B&H websites for quotes on a lens I might sell. Just for curiosity. B&H gave the better quote and since it is not necessary to enter any personal info I have heard nothing further from them. Just the way I like it. MPB quoted $445, $75 less then B&H. In both cases I described the lens as like new, which it is. I bought it thinking I would develop an interest but never did. It has been used once. MPB requires an e-mail address for a quote. Since then I have received multiple e-mails asking when I want to send them my "good condition" lens in exchange for $375. I don't like being hounded over a deal of any kind, and, the change of lens condition and price makes me wonder just how their system works.
I think I'll stick with B&H for those times when I just want to sell an item quickly with no problems.
