A fine set of landscapes.

Thank you for the compliment. Here is a photo of Sandstone Falls that shows more water movement.
I also just processed a photo of Brooks Falls with a faster shutter speed.
Very lovely photos .Well done . Thanks again for sharing these two .Tommy

Sorry, I should be paying more attention - WV, right? Still would like to know where :)
The NPS overlook can be found on the north end of the New River Gorge bridge on US 19 across the bridge from Fayetteville.
Brooks falls is accessable on river left about 4 miles downstream (north) from Hinton. Sandstone Falls is downstream about 10 miles north of Hinton on the same road.
Grand View is also located above New River, but is not accessable from the river. I think off of old US 19 between Shady Spring and Beckley.
Dolly Sods and Seneca Rocks are both located in the north central part of the state in Tucker County. Also, Blackwater Falls, the most photographed place in the state.
The truth is, WV is a very photogenic state with photo ops everwhere, especially at leaf peeping time!

Thank you. Yes, I have seen photos of the Dolly Sods area. I will keep your suggestion in mind for the future. Thanks for the tip.
Trying to remember, but I think from Babcock it's about a 3 hour trip north to Dolly Sods. If you do make the trip there you are about an hour or so from Blackwater Falls State Park. That would be a "must do."
Beautiful images - great set Dean!

Thank you for the information. I visited Blackwater Falls a few years ago during a multi state waterfall trip. I did a calendar for friends after that and Blackwater Falls was on it.
All are awesome, but I really like #2 from Babcock Park. The waterfall has just the right amount of a slight blur to still look natural, but well filled out, and the scene is just remarkable! Well done, I've got to get back to West VA. sometime soon.
Been there a fair number of times and have never seen the river under the bridge that flat. Wonderful reflection shot. Thanks
Beautiful photos and I think you nailed it with the shutter speed you used for the flowing water, just right for my taste!
