Great shot Ken. I have had a couple of bad experiences with raptors that flushed away from me. Telephoto lenses are important for shots like that

When that stuff gets on anything and dries it's almost impossible to remove!
There's timing and then there's timing. Yours was right right on. Now I've got another scene to try for.
