When I've tried photographing these bugs they always hide on the opposite side of the leaf from me. Do you have that experience? Or maybe mine are "Lady Di bugs"?

Excellent job!! How many tubes did you work with, 1,2 or 3?
The ones I try to photograph either move or my flash shows up on the outside of the carapace.

I think that you did an awesome job! I'm still trying to get a grip on my lighting while using my tubes.
