There are no secrets to success in photography. You need the best equipment to create the best images.

Problem is--Define BEST. Most viewed photo was of the people on the wing of the jet that landed on the hudson. A great picture. But in many ways a terrible phptograph.

If I thought all journalists used Sony's I'd switch to a Kodak Brownie (based on my impressions of journalistic integrity.)

People are saying that Fox News uses Kodak.

To all I’m not buying another camera until it has 10,000 pixels! That’s my story and I’m sticking to it 🥸

You’d have to go back in history to the first digital camera that was 0.01 mp.

Of course it beats the A1. It hasn't yet been released so at this point its a fantacy camera...fantacies are always better than the real thing.

Exactly! Rumored specs always win!

I agree, but these are not personal care products. Given the ardent (sometimes verging on fanatical) brand loyalty so often expressed on these pages the phrasing and context suggest that this was intended as a deliberately provocative statement of fact.

BTW I agree with you about Irish Spring.

I can’t stand that overpowering smell of Irish Spring and love the silky soft skin I get from using Dove. 😜🤪

The R1 will have a global shutter -- no more bending of objects --- it is worth the $8500 to stop the distortion.
48500

Or ...... $1600 for a Sony will also eliminate that motion distortion.

Sharing an opinion these weird days is dangerous. Someone who disagrees will dump all over you. The day of cool discussion of differences has long passed.

I disagree!

Unless you pay $8500 you will get rolling shutter which will ruin your photos!

'Best images' and 'most viewed' are not necessarily the same.

Like saying best food and most eaten.........

An artist can capture beauty with any camera. The rest of us need the best camera.

Sometimes even that doesn't work.

If Tony or his wife told me what time it was, I'd pray that I had an accurate watch to check for myself. I don't trust either of those charlatans.

This is a Tony Northrup quote--just trying to see if anyone sees fit to comment. By the way it is $8500!
