Colorado Gold--Part III

Since there was still good light after the drive up C.R. #738 at Crested Butte (Part II), we drove up Gothic Road as far as the bridge over East River. I love water reflections and the light and shadows when we arrived were all I could have asked for. All the way back to Mt. Crested Butte (where we stayed the night) we were treated to the beautiful golden light from the late sun casting a glow on the mountaintops.

The stars really came out for us a few days later when we photographed the Milky Way!! That will be for a future post, though.
