I think dogs have a gene that causes them to run around things while on a leash, so that they get snugged up nice and tight. The same gene keeps them from realizing they could get loose by going in the opposite direction. 🙄
I know I make our dog's day just by showing up - getting up in the morning, or coming into the room where he is! A hip-scratch is icing on the cake!
