I use Ultra Fractal software, intermediate version. There's a freebee called Chaotica. It has a couple of nice basic fractals but is very limited in what you can do with them.

Remember.......if you get stuck on the road to fractal fun just send me a PM. Sometimes a simple suggestion can save months of frustration.
