Yes! Had one very similar on a HVAC system many, many years ago.

Yes. We still have the round one. Seems the $250 thermostats don't save nearly as much as we are led to believe...

Mine were less than $50.

Yes. My round 'stat was around $50. However, I see the "high tech" ones at Home Depot for around $250. I guess some get a kick out of phoning home on the way and turning up the heat or turning down the AC.

Yes, I have an analog thermostat. We had so many power failures my electronic, digital readout, programmable one just gave up.

Shouldn't there be a little lever at the top, to set the desired temperature? I just had all my baseboard electric heat thermostats replaced since the old ones were balky. I told the electrician I did not want digital thermostats that were controlled via WiFi because when Skynet takes over, I don't want it turning up my heat to roast my wife and I to death.

Have enjoyed all the responses. Yes, there is a mini lever on top which allows setting the desired temperature.
