Great shots. I especially like the first shot. I tend to like owls.
Very creative my friend! Love them. I, however, lack the skills for that type of art.

Thank you MT, that is a Great Gray, one of exactly one that I have seen in well of 70 years of birding.

Thanks Bultaco, I think most of my imagination comes form Adobe. Just having a little fun here.

Thanks Doc. This kind of play has kept me going during the past 18 months but I only post the results on photo forums, never on birding and wildlife forums. Some of my birding groups will not even allow a photo of a bird if it is perched on a man made object. I understand the use and need for strict documentary photography in science. I also believe that science and art can be friends. One of my favorite forms of graphic art are the botanical drawings found in botany text books.
We have finally had some rain in N California and maybe the end to a terrible fire season and the beginning of the winter waterfowl migration season, hope!
Best to you my friend,Phil

So glad to hear the weather is beginning to cooperate to help stop the fires. I really hate to see the destruction and hear the stories on the news. I'm with you on the botanical drawings. I've tried to do some dragonfly "art" but I don't have the programs or skill to do the level of art that you have done. Please stay safe and well my friend.
