While in Panama recently we visited the home and workshop of a locally famous mask maker. This little guy is 18 mo old and the grandson of the mask maker. Traditionally, these elaborate masks are worn by the villagers all day on certain feast days. These masks weigh several pounds and the villagers dance with them on continuously for several hours. When the family came out to demonstrate the masks and the dance, this little guy came out in full costume but without a mask. (it would have weighed more than him). He then did the entire dance perfectly, actually anticipating many of the move even before his older siblings.
I like this picture and i rendered it in Black and white because to me his eyes are a reflection of the serious attitude that he has toward this very important family business and contribution to their culture.

Lovely portrait. I think I would clean up the random little marks which would not take away any positive things about the picture.
