I have a Pan G85 with 100-300, 12-100 Pro, & a 9-18; great compact system for traveling, among orher things. Thinking of selling the system & keeping the Sony ( I have a GFX system & some Sony FF stuff $; opinions? 11x14?is probably the largest I would print from the RX10

I had the original RX-10, and I also have an Olympus system, and a couple of Full Frame Sony cameras. I have great images from all of these systems. I keep the Olympus for dirty area travel, and for arena photography as a consumer. Your decision is totally based upon your future plans to travel, etc. and not really based upon the camera bodies as each of the above are worthy products. If it is time for you to travel without changing lenses, then the RX-10 lV is for you. Other hoggers have attested to the ability of the camera to blow up images sharply, so the decision will not be based upon quality, but rather practicality.
@EdChu
Having a similar gear locker as your own, I wouldn’t bail out of MFT. If any change, I’d upgrade the G85 body. Thaz *IF* any change. A G85 is NOT especially ripe for replacement. The G9 is the only really distinct upgrade, and the G85 is a little more compact for your travels.
You considered adding the Lumix 14-140 as a single travel lens? It is light and small.
My wife has the RX10IV and I have the GX8 with 14-140 for travel. It is always a contest to see who gets the best images!

if that's the case, then I'll keep the Sony; but I am referring to ultimate print quality up to 11x14; if comparable, I'll sell the Lumix equipment
Ed, I was (and kinda still am) in the same quandary. The beauty of the m43 system is that we can downsize lenses and get a pretty light system. Ie the ez 14-40 makes my Oly OMD Em5ii like a point and shoot. But I can attach a battery grip and my 12-100 or the 100-400 and it works well. I have the EM 1mii and am can say that my em5! is my favorite body. ‘Twer me I’d just try the small primes and the Oly ez lens to see if it fits your needs. The Sony is a boat load of money.

already have the Sony; I down-sized from Nikon D850 / D810 just b4 the pandemic to Sony a7RIII (FF) and an a6100 ( APS-C ) and some Sony and Tamron lenses; so I have an MFT system I love for traveling, but have never taken it traveling !! :) I pretty much know what I am going to do ( sell teh MFT system ); just looking for some psychological support.

That’s a lot of hardware. If I had a ff system I’d cut down to the Small Sony and get rid of the rest. Concentrate on the art! Sell the M43 stuff on mu43.com.

Well then, here’s some psych support: Sell me your 12-100/4.0 (not joking).

We both get print quality we like to 13x19 on a Canon Pro-100 from my M4/3 GX8 and her 1" RX10IV.

Check your PMs. Thank you.
You'll be happy with your prints from the Sony RX10 IV. The first model RX10 was good enough print wise...the IV model won't disappoint.
Dump the rest...unneeded.
I am an Olympus fan girl! I love the stabilization, the quality of the images, the form factor, the lighter weight… I could go on and on. I traded in all my Nikon gear for the Olympus and have never looked back.

I sure like my Oky kit as well. The IBIS has come in handy for me. In about 2 hours I will be testing the weather sealing on my em1/2 and a pro lens while on the tourist boat Maid of the Mist at Niagara Falls. Will report back! That Sony is also enticing.
