Beware the Evil 'Droid!

The expression you see when the Roomba, AKA "The Evil 'Droid" is roaming the main floor. Backlight / low light with the D3 AF Nikkor 75-300 1:4.5-5.6 Don't feel bad for him, he can jump into a chair whenever he likes. If you have dogs, these things are great!

Going to the vacuum cleaner closet sends Shep outside immediately.

None of the boys mind the vacuum, and they actually got used to the Roomba very quickly. My Son who has dogs and is an Aerospace Engineer got one because he was interested in observing its routing / learning performance. We got a more basic model. Had doubts at first, and still have to "rescue" it when it gets stuck, but a wonderful gadget.

Great lighting in the photo. Nice photo. Too many dogs at my house and never thought of a roomba. I think I need to give one a try.

Thanks! The thing really works well, and if you do a little rearrangement after watching it, gets stuck less. We run it 3x per week.

Thanks from The Scraggle! Haven't had cats in a long time, Wife is allergic, but they are much cleaner than Dogs. The boys bring in all sorts of dirt from rolling, plant detritus from the same, and working through the brush. Three different lengths of fur off just under 300 lbs. of dogs. For us, it is a bridge between vacuuming, and fills its little basket every time. You might find it reduces vacuuming. We bought the basic one, there are even some fancy ones that empty themselves and do other tricks like auto schedule. I think for cats, it will be very good.
