I have been struggling with several YouTube programs on how to select a subject and then do refined editing in Photo Shop on my PC--not Apple. Here is a link I would recommend. Full disclosure: I had to outline the video to remember all the details.

Do you have a question? What is it?
Anthony is one of the best trainers on YouTube. But, that video was done in the spring of last year. Selection techniques have progressed since then. And, with the leaks coming from Adobe about their upcoming releases, it will be even easier.
Would like to share a tip with you (all) -
Go to the youtube video you would like to review again or 'freeze' on a subject so you can explore that part of the instructions. There is at least one way. This is mine!
I found "VideoProc" online, a program that copies videos from places like youtube and allow it to be saved on your hard drive. Simple. Go to the youtube video you want to record. Put the cursor into the video and right click to see the command "save to videoproc". Copy the saved click and open VideoProc to paste the link to be "analyzed". You will be offered several sizes/resolutions to be saved for later viewing or multiple reviews. Pick the resolution up to 1080 HD resolution. Your video will be D/L quickly to your hard drive, where you can view it 1, 10 or 100 times. - My copy of VideoProc was part of a special sale at 50% off. Low pain/High gain.
Just asking...since you can freeze, reverse and watch as many times as you want online, what is the advantage of recording it?
bsprague, Thanks for the update. I'll look for the new release from Adobe. Anything to reduce the necessary editing is interesting to me.

Does every post have to pose a question? The OP is providing information others may be interested in.

Sorry I misread it and it was too late to edit my response when I realized my mistake.
Paul Diamond, Just saw your advice for copying videos from YouTube. Thanks...I will check it out.
