I am going to post a couple of pics, the first being Lonesome Valley. If I am reposting a pic already posted please excuse it, hard to keep up with what I have and have not posted. The second pic is just a mountain pasture, which are refreshing to see when generally all you see are forests. The last pic is a rework of one previously posted.

That whole area is great for photos. Did you check out the smallest historic post office in America? I thinks its called Grimshawes. Its east of Cashiers at the base of Whiteside Mtn.

I do believe that I have seen it, I moved up to Sapphire from Florida last year, my family has been connected to these mountains since WWII, my grandfather bought a small farm in the Highlands area back in the 1940's and we used to summer up here every year when we were children. When it came time to get out of the Florida heat this was my first choice for my retirement home.
