Welcome to the Daily Challenge as we share 'Unexpected Photo Opps!' As an avid amateur photographer, my camera is never far away. I even bought a special camera purse from Rivernan that allows me to discreetly carry my camera everywhere! There have been many times that unexpected photo opportunities have presented themselves to me, and some of my attempts to capture the moment have been successful, but many have not! There's nothing like a missed photo opportunity due to your lack of knowledge about a certain aspect of photography that will send you to your manual or the Internet to look for solutions. That is how I happened upon UHH!

Today, share with us some of those "WOW" moments that blew you away when you uploaded your photos. My 'wow' moments are inferior to many of you with so much expertise and talent. I am honored and humbled everyday to be in the company of so many amazing photographers. I can't wait to see your submissions!

This was my very first 'wow' moment right after I purchased my previous camera, a Nikon D3100. This photo was resized for Facebook and the quality is not enough to download. But, you can understand my excitement when I uploaded this photo.

Taken tonight - My husband and I are camping and I was hoping to catch a 'wow' sunset. We arrived at the boat dock right as the sun went behind the trees, leaving a subtle rainbow 'aura.' Definitely not a 'wow,' but interesting!
