I hope you get a chance to visit sometime. It is wonderful in the wild places by the sea. I was so happy to see a hawk gliding slowly over the beach two or three times, two deer grazing in the yard and a big hare crossing the road ahead of me. I am seriously thinking of moving there where my two sisters have lived for years and my third sister owns a beach house not too far from Lunenburg.

Yes they are rosehips. There are many wild roses growing in the vicinity of Kingsburg, Nova Scotia.
