Having commented on the crop capability of the Nikon D850 I am posting this capture. No tripod but instead bracing on my truck window. I took a shot of the sky behind the Osprey so that when I replaced the muddy result in Luminar that it would look more natural. I dont believe that the capture is tack sharp but.......

A follow-up to this discussion. D850, 500pF. Birds were about 100 yards out when I tripped the trigger. Yes some cropping and pp but I agree with Reconvic's comments about this wonderful camera! Not only megapixels but the IQ of the images is simply superb!

(Did not mean to hijack this thread but to contribute.)

Your shot is sharp enough and a fine example of the advantages of full frame crop capability. Nice work, love the stare!
