I live in Peterborough, Ontario so I would like to buy a Canon Pro-100 printer that would not have to be shipped as it weighs a ton.
If you have one for sale that is not too far from me send a PM.

Well, I have one and I live in Peterborough..... but I haven't considered selling it. What price are you thinking? I see that Amazon CA has 2 used 950 and 1499.

Wow, I only paid $299. on sale from Staples a few years ago. It is (was) as great printer. I recently gave me a warning (a B200 code) and said that I had to send it in for repair and the nearest repair depot is in Mississauga. They quoted a repair cost of $110. plus parts so I thought that I would investigate a used one, but not anywhere near to prices on Amazon. If I can't get one at a reasonable price I will have to drive (twice) to Mississauga to get it repaired.

I think Canon was giving them away if you bought a camera.

Here's a trick that might work for you. On the printers screen, find an entry to reset the printer. Your error code rings a bell with me and that is what I did and it's been fine ever since. The problem I had was the computer recognized the printer but when a print job was sent a message returned that the printer was not responding. Maybe that matches your problem. In any case, try the reset.

I picked up two when the rebate deal was out. I use one and love it. the other was stripped of ink for my use and the print head which I sold on ebay to offset the investment in two. That one is sitting new, in the box in the garage. But I am sure the shipping from Virginia would be $$$.

B200 generally indicates a print head error. It may occur from clogged nozzles. Do a google search on "Canon Pixma 100 B200 error" and you'll find detailed instructions - even a good you tube video - to try before you send
it off to a repair depot.
