I am trying to consolidate and eliminate redundancy of my Canon gear.
So, I am selling my Canon 24-70mm f2.8 L II USM because I also have the 24-105 which is lighter and I use it most of the time. Also, I'm selling my 70-300 f3.5-5.6 II because I use my 70-200 f4 L most of the time.
If interested, I bought the 24-70 brand new for $1800 last year, make me a decent offer.
I bought the 70-300 last year on Ebay used for $475, make me a decent offer.
Payments through PayPal plus shipping.
I am interested in the 70 300 IS II Nano -USM Zoom This is a USA model right? Good for Canon to service etc.? Are there any defects to the lens at all due to being used? Any issues at all? Lens scratches? or any damage especially to the rear lens that does stick out pretty far. Thank you for answering my questions, Walt. PS I also thought the Max aperture was 4.0-5-6 you listed 3.5? LOL...would be nice if it is.
Yes, my mistake, it is 4.0 not 3.5. I think it is the USA model, I bought it on Ebay last year so I'm not really sure. The lens serial number is 7911101694. Maybe there is a way to use the serial number to determine its origin.
The lens is in pristine condition, no scratches, mold, mildew or dirt of any kind on the body or the front or back lenses. I did not use it very much at all since I have the 70-200 f4 L that I use most of the time. I probably took less than 100 photos with it. When not in use, it is stored in a Zero Halliburton aluminum case.
I have $375 dollars saved to spend ...I have been saving for a new model of this lens....how much were you thinking?
I was looking for at lease $400 plus whatever the shipping (probably $10-15 I would guess, I will check the cost if you are interested).
Yes please do my zip is 97527 out in Oregon
Looks like UPS ground price is $17.35 insured for up to $500.
After thinking it over and talking to my wife she wants to get me a new one for Christmas...thank you for your quick responses but we will pass at this time. Walt
Ok, thank for looking, good luck on Christmas.
