There’s an Osprey that has it’s territory right here in the wetlands in front of our complex. He (or she?) routinely roosts right here on my block. I took some shots of him on the light standard a couple months ago and today I heard him calling overhead and managed to get a few shots off from the patio. I was in a hurry to get the shots and barely had time to get the camera so the settings are not what they should be to bring out the clearest of shots, but regardless, I liked the way the sun touches his wing feathers. That and the fish dinner he has in his talons.

Nice set of shots! The last shot shows this is an immature Osprey. Mature Ospreys have bright yellow eyes.
