Great pictures. I love the bridge!

Thank you! There are a few around on the abandoned right of way, others gone. I often wonder what made the difference.

Now we know why it's referred to as "Big Sky Country".

Always plenty of sky! Thanks!

Out to do some errands. Still working the D3 and old 80-200 1:2.8. Lens hood hasn't arrived as yet, but no sun to speak of, so no worry. Wide crops all three.

Wonderful, really like that first one.
Downloads are fantastic.

Thank you! Amazing camera, seems to do well with whatever lens I put on it. About the only shortfall is the comparatively low MP. Of course, there are newer equally / more capable cameras just sitting while I play with the "antique"!

I understand. I just dug out an old Kodak Medalist II to play with from back in the 1940's I think. Haven't used it in a few years. Time to see what it can do with 120 film.

Great images. Thanks. Is that last one of the bridge over the Musselshell?

Thanks! Yes, but unsafe / condemned.

For the rest of us not having that bridge across the Musselshell doesn't affect our lives, but for the folks in the area their lives have been made somewhat more difficult by its closure. Years from now your images can serve as a record of its existence.

Actually, the county is getting involved in a couple of really inconvenient missing / condemned bridges, and a landowner purchased a sound railroad bridge. From where it is positioned, I suspect he / she is planning a crossing. A key problem is the incredibly massive flooding that occurs in the area from time to time. No idea where all the water comes from, but the last time, it completely changed the course of the river in a few places, even leaving sound bridges over nothing. You wouldn't believe some of my photos. Right now, the Musselshell is the lowest I have seen it in 15 years. Nature in all its glory / fury!
