Keystone has had more severe leaks than any other
You might want to let FrankT know that since he said the Keystone never had a drop of oil running through it.

LET THE PRIVATE SECTOR WORK. Most of the countries breakthroughs have been made bythe private sector. YES the government can help, but not do everything in it's power to shut that sector down. EVERYTHING is delivered by f****l f**l vehicles. Without it we are back in the 1800's. At this time electric cars will offer no help in reducing fossil f****l f**l ucage. The electricty to power them is generated by f****l f**ls. And whats even worse is It's only going to get worse, much worse. Inflation is only beginning. We have been lucky to have enough of a portfolio to live the way we want. But if inflation continues for bidens full term that portfolio might lose enough value to noy be adequate. I am more than a little concerned
Oh wow sanctions lol is that all you got. Lol 😂😂😂

If you want to private sector to work, get Biden and the Democrats out of the way.

As usual, liberals implement their policies in an ass-backward fashion. They restrict and regulate existing technologies to death before replacement sources are ready, then b***h about how it impacts costs.
We need much more nuclear energy. It's clean, safe, and it will give us all the inexpensive power that makes electric vehicles practical for most Americans. Freight t***sport, rail, and truck will still need diesel, but that's a fraction of the oil we use. The issue is that the same people that want more clean-generated electricity have a blind fear of nuclear energy.

Repukes are the one blocking everything

LOL No they aren't blocking anything that has to do with the private sector. Don't blame the Republicans, blame your 2 Senators.
That is not the same thing as approving or disapproving the deal. We had no role in that t***saction.

Republicans block debate on infrastructure bill, but final deal could solidify within days

The hard to get over fact is that we ARE dependent on f****l f**ls And untill there is a major breakthrough in the way electricity is generated it will continue. It was thought that Nuclear would solve that problem. But there are too many pronlems with nukes. There has never been a different way (other than solar) tp generate electricity than the original way.-A turbine. By renewables I assume you mean wind or solar. Neither can deliver the amount of power to equal f****l f**ls. A major portion of energy requirement is for HVAC. The US has been a leader in reducing these costs. Better construction and better insulation codes have greatly helped. But many older facilities have not been brought up to current codes Many if not all homes built befor the 60's or even the 70's were poorly or even un insulated. Insulation was a extra option in new home construction. Our first house was built in the nid 50,s. The exterior walls were 2X4 studs with 2/12 inch insulation (r-value about 0) . BNut heating oil cost about 75 cents a gallon in 67 when we bought the place. It cost about $600 per year to heat. Probably close to 3 grand in todays costs for a 1500 sq ft house.

Of course you are correct about the pipeline, and I should have said that the US will refine less oil than we would have.
Nonetheless it is a curious juxtaposition when the US puts limits on gas/oil processing, while a) green lighting the Russian pipeline and b) H****r heavily invested in Chinese oil processing.
The Keystone oil was never intended for US consumption, it's too heavy for our market.
The process of extracting tar sands oil is toxic for the environment.
Processing tar sands oil produces even more toxins than the extraction process.

There are two different routes for the Keystone Pipeline.
One has been up and running, which is where the leaks have occurred.
The other additional route is the one which President Biden shut down.
See the map on this link. The blue dotted line on the map is the "route" which was shut down.
