Storage is really easy and cheap these days. I throw away nothing anymore

Well it was never really about storage as just gets hard to kind of go through them and if you want to put one in a contest you got to look through three times as many photographs I'm not very good at categorizing so I just kind of look at it and think if this is printable and will look good printable I'll keep it or if this is something unique I'll keep it but yeah the background is too busy or it's just not composed properly or if it's just something that seems to be disinteresting I'll usually delete it but what I think is interesting can change from one day to the next I'm sure we all run into that LOL It's the same as when we start out we think all of our picture great and then 6 months later we go back and we think only half of a real picture worth keeping and then a year down the road we don't think any of our old stuff is worth keeping because we've grown and we've learned and we've perfected what we do to a point and that never stops you always continue developing
I often take the camera with me when I can when doing errands, just in case. Most images I never keep, but, before I deleted these I thought I would share some of the things I see that don't usually make the cut:) Sometime, I rethink.
