The subscription gives ordinary people the chance to use the same software as the rich.

I think "the rich" hire people to do the processing for them.

EDIT: CS6 for sale. I can't imagine how this would work.

Prices range from $99.99 - $750.

If I de-authorize my copy, wouldn't someone else be allowed to install it under his name?

It isn't your copy. You bought a license to use the software but Adobe retains all other rights.

If you sell your car with a license plate, can the buyer use your plate? Only if the buyer re-registers the car and pays the fee.

You can test it yourself. Creating a new email is free, allowing you to test being someone else.

Couldn't that license be transferred to someone else? I guess that's where the fine print enters into it.

I did that a couple of times with friends. They bought the car, and I let them keep the plate till they got it registered. It didn't end well - parking tickets and red lights. Fortunately, we had a record of the sale, so we didn't have to pay the fines.

No. I'd be afraid that I'd never be allowed to use the program again. Let a sleeping dog lie.

The local secretary of state manages licensing plates and the valid licensing of registered motor vehicles. Any private person claiming otherwise is lying or worse. Your experiences demonstrated.

Yes, it is transferrable, and there is a process:

I would suggest getting Photoshop Elements. Does a lot of what the real photoshop does, at least for photographers. The new one is out and should be on sale soon.
That said, I still use PS5, although the raw converter is a lot better. But as i use it, I need PS5 less and less.
