Yeah, he looks like he is having fun!
The truth of the story is this: that guy like a lot of the runners were actually walking up the hill. When that guy saw me about to take a photo he started running and said something like "oh great, you want to photograph us with the pain look on our faces from this hill"! I told him he was doing great.

There were plenty of BOTH!
Interesting note: The two runners that were in the lead were about 5 minutes ahead of the guy in third place. I'm thinking the two guys in the lead were pros.
