And if so, what additional features/improvements do you find that are a significant change over Win 10? Can you tell any performance difference?
I ran the TPM test on my 6 year old Lenovo I-5 laptop, and to my (great) surprise, it passed. Since I just use it occasionally for a few easy to reload applications, it makes a good test platform, but would like to understand if there are any useful features to justify the work. Yes, I have read Microsoft’s information and am in the insider program and can download the beta, but would like to hear from some actual users if there are any.
Thanks in advance for any information.

I'm curious, but will wait a bit a see what folks have to say....I never try first releases unless I have an older test bed to try it on like you have.

I read the chit chat section every day, and while I have seen Win 11 discussed, I haven’t seen any real performance comparisons or an explanation of what new features the user has found useful. If I’ve missed something, please be kind enough to respond with a link to the thread.

Here is a link to a YouTube video done 4 days ago, "Windows 11 First Impressions". There is nothing that I saw in the video to make me want to run out and upgrade right away. I'll wait until the bugs have all been fixed, as I am sure there will be issues like there always is with a new OS and software. Win 10 works fine, and will be fully supported for 4 more years according to Microsoft until October 14, 2025.

Sorry Trix I did not mean to sound dismissive. Just thought you might not have seen the others.

No problem (I didn’t take it that way), and if I’ve missed something with good information, just point me toward it. My short term recall seems to be getting slower the last few years
I have been running Windows 11 for several months. I don't find anything new except they have moved things around, made the right click context menus more difficult to use, improved the Store, and impacted gaming performance about 5% (from what I read - I think Tom's Hardware).
