Can I use my same lens from my T5, with the T7i or T8i?

Any Canon EF or EF-s lens will work just fine on any Canon APS-C DSLR. The cameras you named are all APS-C DSLRs. Any third party lenses that utilize the EF mount will also work fine.

Yes, I second this.
And even better all EF and EFs lenses ever made work 100% on those cameras as well as 100% with improved performance on ALL mirrorless R series cameras with the adapter.
So sleep well knowing your investment is future proof.
If you find a very old EF lens that looks interesting have NO fear, it will work 100%.
Canon saw the future in 1987 and ran with it while ALL others condemned them for being so visionary then.
Took everyone else about 30 years to catch up with the EF technology.
