Took the side-by-side for a drive yesterday up the North Fork road. We just take off from the house so no need to haul it on the trailer! The North Fork road runs from Columbia Falls MT to the Canadian Border - the border crossing has been closed for years. The road runs along the north fork river which is the boundary for Glacier National Park...beautiful views of the Rocky Mtn's all the way to the border.
We made a stop at Kintla Lake, Bowman Lake, hiked up to Cyclone Lookout then drove down to Cyclone Lake. To get to Kintla and Bowman lakes, you have to go thru Polebridge MT and enter Glacier Park...this road is bumpy, huge holes, nasty dirt road and I was so surprised to see some tourists driving that road in small cars and camper vans
We took our horse trailer over that road over 10 yrs ago and it's even worse now...lol
It was a beautiful day.
Excellent photos, intrepid adventurers!
An excellent set, Cindy! Thanks for taking us on your fun trip.
Awesome, Cindy. Great set.
