It's the middle of June in So. California! When will I get my summer haircut? I'm roasting here!
Tara's partner in crime. My Wife's Shin Zhu-Toby.
He is kind of a honey gold just after a bath when the light hits him just right. Otherwise he looks tan.
Debra gets him a haircut at the start of the hot weather, and another when his hair gets to about 2.5 inches. The original haircut leaves him looking like a Yellow Lab puppy. The second one isn't so short. That way when the cool weather comes he has his fur coat back.

be brave and cut the hair yourself. When we bought our first Cocker Spaniel the breeder came to our home and showed me the tricks.........never had to use a groomer.

We tried the bath and trim at home once, took a week to get the bathroom cleaned and our nerves settled down. He fights to stay out of the water then once wet proceeds to play. BIG MESS
We now let the groomer have all the fun. We just trim around his eyes.
