Thank you both. She loves her violin and that photograph is one of the ones she is considering for the yearbook.

I liked the sun dial but the violin is very good too. My daughter plays bass. :)

I vote for the one with the sundial but all are nice. I had to look several times to make a choice.

I like the first two. The problem with #2 is you put a vignette on it and it goes over her face. Therefore the violin and her middle is the brightest part of the image. There is nothing wrong with a light vignette - I use it all the time, but put it on a separate layer and then erase any part that covers a face.

I don't know why but it never occured to me to erase the vignette over her face. I'll do that and remember for next time too. Thank you so much. And thank you to every one for all the comments.

I like vignettes too, but you really do have to watch being too heavy handed. I think I'd like the 3rd shot the best, except the vignette is way too far into the photo and darkening her face. Of the 3 as is, I'd go with #2, she looks like a very happy girl.
