Hi All;
I'm not used to praising companies when they do what they are supposed to but this past week I had an issue with Lensrental that wasn't caused by them ( but by a FedEx delay ) and end up losing an opportunity during the weekend.
I contacted Lensrental looking for a way to fix the problem and I was very pleased when the company assumed the issue and gave me the best solution I could ever imagine.
Since the solution was promptly given by Lensrental with no stress or complex requests I can only assume that it is their way of being a customer-oriented company, the type that is so difficult to find nowadays.
To Lensrental my sincere thank you and to my fellow Ugly Hedgehog members, I strongly endorse their use.

Good for them, good for us.
I've used them a couple times on travels and they have satisfactorily addressed any hiccups that occurred, even though it was not their fault. I will use them again.
They are a reputable and great business that pay especial attention to their customers. I rented from them around 5 years ago and had a bad experience, not my fault and not their fault. I was visiting Sonoma and mailed an Olympus 12-40 f2.8 Pro along with an EVF- 4 from a local Fed-Ex in the downtown area. Several days later they asked me about the EVF-4 and I replied that I sent it along with the lens. They received the lens but not the electronic finder.
They did not put any pressure on me. I explained to them that I was completely sure I have mailed both items to them. I could not explain what happened to the viewfinder but it made me feel bad. I checked with the hotel where I stayed even when I knew I have sent the finder and they told me they did not find it in my room. I checked my camera bag and it was not there either. I know I sent it but only God knows what in the world happened that they never received it. An embarrassing situation nonetheless.
I only hear good things about them!

I also had Fedex missing a delivery date with a second camera needed for a family wedding in Houston. Lensrental was great and was ready to go above and beyond to guarantee that second camera was on site in time. The rented camera finally arrived the afternoon before our departure. Kudos to Lensrental for being ready to do whatever to get a camera to me. It may want to re-evaluate its business relationship with FedEx.
I too recently had a bad experience with FedEx on my rental, but Lensrental stepped up to remedy the situation and they did in professionally, quickly and pleasantly. I will definitely use them again in the future.
Thank you for the responses. We only know how good a company is when something goes wrong. I've rented from them before and everything was fine, but this time Fedex delayed the delivery by two days, and I missed the whole weekend since I had already traveled.
When I called Lensrental, they immediately extended the rental period with no questions asked, no forms to fill out, just plain and simple customer service.
This is great to know that many other customers have had similar experiences, and they have just won a customer for life.
