Thawed some stew meat for dinner, but as the day advanced, I wanted something more exotic. Found this on All Recipes. Ranch cooking decision point, I had all the ingredients, or adequate substitutes. Delicious! This is very filling, and it is impossible to make a small quantity. Variations from the recipe - a can of Hunt's Fire Roasted, most of a can of Contadina Tomato Paste, and Frozen Peas, I hate canned. A bit more vinegar and soy to taste. Woof! No plated photo because goop in a bowl is goop, however tasty. Don't miss this one!

This looks and sounds good. Bet it would be real good on a cold winter day.

We’re off to the market later today and it is on tomorrow night’s menu.
I’ve got a nice Cabernet that should match up well

The amount of garlic alone suggested it might be a good one for you! Most welcome!

Thank you! https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/232552/caldereta-filipino-beef-and-chorizo-stew/?printview

As noted, I substituted Hunt's Fire Roasted tomatoes, Contadina Tomato Paste and water for the tomato sauce. Everything else as written.
