A summary of Socialism in one short sentence. You have it, I want it, I'm taking it.
The reality whenever it has been tried:
Comrade, we are all equal, but some of us are more equal.
Socialism is not the classic definition used by Republicans to condemn social programs. Within a family and within-country people help one another, within that social order they work together to build the structure that will benefit all. Was Ike Eisenhower a classic socialist when he started the Interstate Highway program, or FDR when he set up work programs and safety nets. Yes, healthcare, education, t***sportation are all social programs but are condemned as being Socialistic or C*******tic. Hum, what was the Capitalism of early 1900? Was it a positive thing for the Barons, yep, for the people, nope?
https://www.businessinsider.com/americas-robber-barons-2012-3#andrew-carnegie-3Interesting, my dirt-poor, beer-drinking, gambling grandfather was a stanched Republican and talked like he was a drinking buddy of the robber barons... it gave him personal affiliation. He condemned FDR, yet accepted all that was handed to him by the Democratic ... social[ism] part of the government.
Perhaps, robertjerl using the word Comrade shows the confusion of the 2nd manifesto with the Stalinist Sadistic Cold-war Russia. Trump is a wanna-be totalitarian... a true danger cult.

American Socialist politician definition of Socialism; "I've got mine and I'm going to keep it but I'm
going to take yours and give it to someone else."
"Yes, I do own three houses. What's your point?"

No one knows Socialism better than you. Tell us again how your grandfather's Argentina embraced it and eventually found that it took a shopping cart full of Argentine pesos to go the store to buy a loaf of bread.
And you want to import that crap here.

Krack's fervent desire is to see the U.S. turn into Canada so we can be as miserable as they are.

It may be that his desire will be realized by the end of this administration.

Better than the US is not a very high mark to aspire to.
