I can not see the Menu or Review my Photographs on the back screen of My Z 7ii. They only show in the view finder. This has only happened recently and I don't know what I did to remove those functions. Help and advice would be appreciated.

Did you try using the monitor mode button on the left side of the viewfinder which is shown in the attached image? It is the button with the rectangle between two vertical lines. Pressing it cycles through the various viewfinder and monitor options. I don't own the Z 7II myself but I do own the new Z fc with a similar monitor mode button located on my camera's rear panel. A quick internet search came up with the location of this button on your camera. The manual is your friend.

Way back when the Z6 was first introduced, I was at a photo walk with my D850. A woman came up and said she was having the same problem, could not see images except in the viewfinder. It was cool because I had not seen the Zs yet.

The view button on the Zs is identical to the one on my Fuji X-T30, so the switch was easy. Nice camera.

I have a Z7 and it works the same way. Below is a link to an article that explains the modes.

Me too. More than once. It's annoying.

I had this experience too. I discovered that if there is any speck in the viewfinder it will think you are using the viewfinder and not allow a display on the monitor. Try cleaning the viewfinder, even if it does not appear that anything is in it, and see if that solves your problem, It did for me.

Actually cleaning the viewfinder eyepiece is very easy to do once you slide off the rubber eyecup by pushing up from the bottom. As a side note, if you choose to replace the eyepiece, I've found after market eye cups are a fraction of the price Nikon charges and are in stock vs a 6 month wait.
